Jisc is looking for a Relationship Manager to join our team on a part-time, 0.5 FTE, permanent contract. This role is Remote – (based in Wales). Some travel to member sites is required, and a need to stay overnight for team away days. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £42,500 per annum negotiable depending on experience. Responsibilities will include: You will be available to senior representatives of membership organisations as the principal point of contact with respect to all Jisc products, services and development programmes The Relationship Manager conducts reviews and relationship management activities with a portfolio of members with respect to the organisational consumption of Jisc products and services and identifying how members can further increase the value of their Jisc membership To be responsible for the quality-of-service Jisc delivers to members, facilitating service delivery teams to do what is necessary for specific accounts, including trouble shooting and handling of complaints The satisfaction of allocated member accounts will be your responsibility You will support members in matching their requirements to the full range of existing Jisc products and services and champion the member’s requirement within Jisc, and take ownership of their issues all the way through to resolution Key Skills and Experience: You are able to assimilate information and to communicate it effectively to both members and colleagues As a strong team player, you are able to function at a high level within the context of your team, as well as being strongly motivated to operate using your own initiative You will be literate in digital technologies and be comfortable with a matrix management environment and willing to operate flexibly across a large and often diverse geography and membership base As a field-based worker, you will be comfortable with regular travel, working on-the-move and working remotely from an office environment If you have experience of working in work based or adult and community learning in Wales and an understanding of Jisc and its products and services this would be advantageous.
