A major priority is driving high value sales of Jisc products and services into existing and new markets to grow sustainable revenue and reduce reliance on grant funding.

The role: This is an evolving role shaped by the growing need for effective sales processes around product introduction, to drive revenue and help the sales teams sell and deliver for their customers. You’ll collaborate closely with the Director of Product, the Head of Commercial in GCTO and finance partners to ensure products are ready for sale and service in line with revenue commitments. You will achieve this by leading planning cycles across sales and product teams, overseeing monthly forecasting, performance and the annual planning process. You’ll also own sales operations within the wider operations function, working closely with deputy directors in the customer sales team.

The operations team provides essential support to the Customer & Sector Enablement Managing Director, senior leadership team and the wider directorate, as well as shared services such as CRM and member subscriptions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ownership of the annual sales planning schedule, quarterly reviews and monthly sales pipeline meeting schedule and chairing. Responsibility for managing stakeholders’ business-wide at all levels (sector heads, heads of product) within the virtual team to undertake the agreed tasks.
  • Ownership and ensuring effective delivery of the annual sales launch event, working with the director and deputy directors of sales.
