The European Utility-Scale BESS Area Sales Manager will be responsible for executing the sales strategy for Jinko ESS products in their assigned territory. This position will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and cultivating relationships with potential customers. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction, market share growth and revenue targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the sales strategy for utility-scale BESS products in the assigned territory, in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with potential customers, industry stakeholders and partners.
- Understand customer needs and provide them with solutions to optimize their energy usage and reduce their carbon footprint.
- Develop proposals, quotations and negotiate contracts with customers, in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including legal, engineering, operations, and finance to ensure customer satisfaction and meet revenue targets.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends in the BESS sector.
- Monitor and report on sales activities and customer feedback to the sales management team and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the energy sector, preferably in battery energy storage systems.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience developing and executing sales strategies in a competitive market.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
Work Environment: This position requires some travel to customer sites or industry events.
