About Your Program You’ll be joining the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, designed to give early‑career talent hands‑on exposure to real projects, real responsibilities, and real growth. Over 3–6 months, you’ll work alongside experienced teams, build fundamental skills, and gain insights into how a global business operates.

Responsibilities

  • Support Order‑to‑Cash Cycle: Assist in executing contract management, product setup, promotion execution, payments, and funding processes.
  • Purchase Order Execution: Help release and manage purchase orders to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Inbound Coordination Support: Work with suppliers and logistics teams to track and ensure timely delivery of products to the warehouse.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Track inventory data, analyze trends, and support the implementation of strategies to improve stock turnover and reduce excess inventory.
  • Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) Support: Assist in aligning inventory levels with sales forecasts and business goals by providing accurate data and insights.
  • Warehouse & Logistics Collaboration: Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth inventory flow and help resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • System Utilization: Learn and use inventory management systems to support inventory control and operational efficiency.
  • Problem‑Solving: Collaborate with Category Managers and the Operations Manager to resolve inventory‑related issues quickly and effectively.
  • Process Improvement Support: Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency in a resource‑constrained environment.
  • Data & Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate reports on inventory levels, sales trends, and operational performance to support decision‑making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor‑level education or equivalent intellectual capacity.
  • Relevant experience in retail, merchandising, or buyer role.
  • Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms and online shopping trends is a plus.
  • Basic analytical skills to interpret data and trends.
  • Basic skills in Excel.
  • Proficient in English.
