- What You’ll Do
- Translate complex regulatory requirements for non-food products into scalable policies, processes, governance mechanisms and technology-enabled solutions that support business growth, across the UK and EU.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation to ensure frameworks remain effective as the business expands into new markets and regulatory environments.
- Provide compliance oversight across the full e-commerce lifecycle, including product and supplier onboarding, product safety, regulatory compliance and authority contact management.
- Partner with Product, Commercial, Operations, Legal and other stakeholders to embed compliance considerations early in decision-making and programme development.
- Lead risk assessments and provide compliance input on key business initiatives, evaluating regulatory, operational and customer impacts.
- Design and strengthen governance frameworks, internal controls and monitoring mechanisms that support sustainable growth and effective risk management.
- Identify emerging compliance and product safety risks, developing mitigation strategies and influencing stakeholders to deliver timely resolution.
- Provide clear analysis and reporting.
- Deliver training and awareness programmes that promote culture of compliance across the organisation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, building strong relationships and influencing decisions through practical, risk based advice.
About You
- 5+ years operating in a fast-paced non-food product compliance environment where priorities evolve, regulations change, and not every answer is immediately clear.
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into innovative, practical business solutions, working closely with Product, R&D, Legal, Operations, and Commercial teams.
- Proven track record of successfully building programmes, processes, mechanisms, or technology solutions from the ground up.
- Expected to identify opportunities for improvement, drive innovation, and create scalable frameworks that enable the business to operate efficiently and compliantly as it expands into new markets and regulatory environments.
