About Our Program
You’ll be joining the JD Vanguard (JDV) Graduate Program, our frontline leadership pathway for the next generation of supply chain talent. Over the course of a year, you’ll take on real projects, build technical and people‑leadership skills, and learn how JD Logistics operates at a global level, with the opportunity to extend and continue your journey.
Alongside mentorship and learning experiences your day to day role will cover responsibilities such as:
- Support the Compliance team in translating regulatory requirements (food and non‑food) into practical policies, processes and governance documentation.
- Assist with research into local regulatory frameworks and help maintain trackers for authority contacts, product categories and compliance obligations.
- Help prepare materials for risk assessments, compliance reviews and stakeholder reporting.
- Support the coordination of training and awareness content aimed at building a compliance‑first culture across the business.
- Assist with organising and maintaining governance documentation, SOPs and internal control records.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects supporting the wider build‑out of the Legal and Compliance function, including process improvement and administrative support.
About You
- Currently studying towards, or recently completed, a degree in Law, Business, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to summarise complex information clearly.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with trackers, documents and reporting tools.
- Proactive and curious, comfortable asking questions in a fast‑paced environment where not every answer is immediately clear.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; able to work well with cross‑functional stakeholders (Legal, Operations, Commercial).
- Prior internship or coursework exposure to compliance, e‑commerce, or supply chain is a plus but not required.
