Location: London

Type: Contract

Salary: Dependent on experience and ability, opportunity for this to turn full time.

The Role

You’ll take long‑form interviews and turn them into high‑performing content. This isn’t about pretty edits. It’s about:

  • Retention Hooks
  • Shareability
  • Growth

You’ll be responsible for turning one conversation into 10–30 pieces of content that travel. We want people that align with our mission and values about promoting business and enterprise; many video editors do not fall into this category, we want someone who is interested in the economy of the future.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Edit short‑form video clips (30–120 seconds)
  • Craft strong hooks in the first 1–3 seconds
  • Add captions, graphics, and pacing that maximise retention
  • Identify viral moments from long‑form interviews
  • Experiment constantly: formats, styles, pacing, thumbnails
  • Work closely with the founder/team on content strategy
  • Help shape our editorial voice - not just execute it

What We’re Looking For

You probably have:

  • 1–4 years editing for social (LinkedIn a big plus)
  • Strong instincts for what performs (not just what looks nice)
  • Experience with Premiere Pro / Final Cut / After Effects
  • A portfolio of clips that have actually travelled

But more importantly, you:

  • Think like a content creator, not just an editor
  • Obsess over why something gets 500 views vs 500,000
  • Understand pacing, storytelling, and attention
  • Can spot the moment in a 60‑minute conversation
  • Are fast, proactive, and experimental

Bonus Points

  • You’ve grown your own account or channel
  • Experience of editing trailers
  • You understand LinkedIn’s algorithm and audience behaviour
  • You’ve worked with podcasts or interview content
  • You have opinions (we like opinions)

What Success Looks Like

  • Our clips consistently outperform industry benchmarks
  • You help us turn episodes into distribution machines
  • You contribute ideas that directly drive audience and revenue growth

Why Join

  • Work directly with the founder — high ownership, little bureaucracy - you have got a good idea, run with it, make the role your own.
  • Be part of a fast‑growing media brand at an inflection point
  • Shape the voice and growth of a platform with serious ambition
  • Opportunity to grow into a Content / Creative Lead role

Final Note

If you think this is just an editing job, it’s not. This is a growth role disguised as editing.
