What You’ll Do: As a Stock Controller, you will:
- Organise stock on shelves and maintain a clean and neat stockroom.
- Transfer or remove, if necessary, boxes from stockroom to stockroom.
- Receive deliveries and check that the stock delivered matches supporting documentation.
- Report discrepancies to Store Manager.
- Maintain effective stockroom controls to ensure continued stock supply.
- Ensure stock record accuracy.
- Manage in and out stock transfers.
- Support with the weekly reconciliation of unverified transfers and negative reports.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Take part in stock takes.
- Take part in-store events.
