Job Title: Global Marketing Assistant
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Senior Global Marketing Manager
Location: London Head Office
Overall Purpose of the Role
To actively support the Senior Global Marketing Director and the Senior Global Marketing Manager with seasonal projects and on-going marketing initiatives whilst overseeing departmental and administrative activity. To facilitate the flow of communication with other departments in particular, internal global stakeholders and regional teams.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Topline review of regional creative artwork briefs, sharing with Senior Global Marketing Manager to ensure brand alignment
- Prepare any global marketing briefs to be reviewed and ensure they are handed to Creative Services team with clear deadlines and communicate any changes with the relevant teams and Senior Global Marketing Manager
- Collating regional activity globally, including events to ensure brand alignment
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to compile the Quarterly Marketing Newsletter and share with the business stakeholders internally
- Collect and compile information (data, images, regional / department feedback) for marketing presentations including launch plans and wrap reports
- Collate of all competitor benchmark activities including gifting ideas and reporting
- Support the Senior Global Marketing Manager with the global gifting programme liaising with regional stakeholders from concept to distribution
- Trafficking all Marketing Assets to internal stakeholders with asset overview and usage guidelines
- Generate ideas for marketing and event activities
Logistics and Administration:
- Responsible for managing the Global Marketing Calendar
- Compile and circulate minutes from key calls including regional bi-weekly meetings with clear actions and follow ups
- Support the Senior Global Marketing Manager with any collateral developed for the Regional Guidelines including orders and distribution
- Support the Senior Global Marketing Manager with the sampling feedback process, logistics and shipment tracking of the Global Gifting Programme, both Holiday and Global Gifting Catalogue
- Produce any additional wrap reporting required through coordinator with Senior Stakeholders including Capsules / Collaborations
- Sample sale management support when required
Department Administrative Support:
- Organise and schedule meetings to Senior Marketing Director
- Support senior management with diary management as and when required
- Oversee all invoice processing for the Marketing Department
- Complete expenses reconciliation where required
- Oversee recharge process for gifting and anything additional required
- Liaise with Finance / Accounts Payable Teams to manage timely payment of invoices and budgetary meetings
- General assistance to the Senior Marketing Director
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Graduate level education preferably in a marketing subject
- Able to work confidently in PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrable experience in working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrable experience in applying initiative and being proactive
- Experience in working for a luxury band in a similar capacity
