Design Intern, Shoes

Role Overview

The main objective of this internship is to assist the Footwear Design team in visualizing new footwear concepts from the designers, contributing to a comprehensive overview of upcoming collections before the sampling stage. This hands-on role provides exposure to the full design process in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare and mask templates of footwear sketches using Photoshop.
• Render digital sketches in various materials and colorways.
• Export, label, and organize digital CADs by shoe family and style.
• Conduct trends research on footwear and materials; present findings to the design team.
• Organize shipments and parcels, and collect deliveries as needed.
• Support other design-related and ad hoc projects as required.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software and Photoshop for rendering footwear designs.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments effectively.
• Adaptable and open to feedback and creative direction.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and through digital channels.
• Enthusiasm for footwear design and a keen eye for detail.
