Role Purpose:
Jimmy Choo operates in 150+ DOS across 13 regions in 24 currencies as well as a growing E-commerce platform. Planning and Buying is organised centrally and through 4 regional teams, Europe, North America, Japan and Asia, and this role will work alongside them to provide a global picture of sales performance, understanding the driving forces within each market and determining new ways to maximise profitability.
Nature and Scope of Position:
- Produce detailed analysis on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, providing insights into performance and key drivers. Working with all regions across multiple currencies.
- Produce detailed weekly sales commentary and actions to senior management.
- Provide ad-hoc sales analysis to support seasonal and continuity planning
- Working with regional partners to share knowledge of global sales, to understand performance and identify risks and opportunities.
- Support the monthly re-order process for all regions, analysing global stock position to propose global stock movement where necessary.
- Working closely with warehouse team on stock transfers.
- Managing central stock holding to support wholesale and retail demand. Recommend ways in which stock can be managed more efficiently.
- Conducting regular sales and stock analysis for central stock holding to create size ratios.
- Collaborating and maintaining relationships across the business
Experience Required
- Graduate calibre
- Experience working within a head office retail organisation
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (sales analysis KPIs, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS)
- Strong commercial and analytical skills (good interpreter of information and storyteller)
- Experience of Merchandise Planning or Merchandising Admin Assistant, or Allocator
