The Purpose
To lead the development, management, and delivery of high-quality management information and reporting processes across the Facilities and Maintenance Department. This role is critical in supporting strategic decision-making, performance tracking, compliance reporting, and continuous improvement of property and facilities management operations across all stadium sites and venues within the group.
The Role
Data & MI Leadership
- Own and develop the property MI reporting framework, aligning reporting outputs with strategic and operational goals.
- Collate, validate, and interpret data from CAFM systems, compliance platforms, helpdesk systems, and third-party contractors.
- Design and deliver dashboards and regular reporting packs covering areas such as PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance), reactive maintenance, contractor performance, compliance, sustainability, and capex.
- Lead the integration and visualization of data using tools such as Power BI, Excel, or equivalent analytics platforms.
- Develop standard KPIs for facilities performance across multiple stadiums and support benchmarking across sites.
- Act as the primary point of contact for MI queries within the Facilities Team.
- Partner with Facilities Managers, Compliance Teams, Finance, and Project Delivery to ensure alignment on data and performance metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on trends, risks, and inefficiencies.
- Drive continuous improvement in data collection, validation, and reporting processes.
- Ensure data integrity across systems including CAFM, asset registers, and compliance tools.
- Support system upgrades, integration projects, and training for staff on MI-related tools.
- Produce evidence-based reports for internal and external audits.
- Track statutory compliance KPIs and highlight gaps or overdue actions.
- Support ESG and sustainability reporting initiatives, including energy tracking, waste reporting, and carbon metrics.
- Proven experience in an MI or data reporting role, ideally within property, estates, or facilities management.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, or other data visualisation tools.
- Experience working with CAFM systems (e.g., Planon, Concept, or similar).
- Strong understanding of property compliance metrics and facilities KPIs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Solutions-focused, curious, and passionate about driving improvements.
- Able to communicate complex data in a clear and accessible way to non-technical audiences.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work collaboratively across departments.
- Experience within the sports, stadium, or large venue sector.
- Knowledge of statutory property compliance (e.g., fire, legionella, electrical safety).
- Exposure to capital project tracking or lifecycle planning data.
- Understanding of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 50001, ISO 14001) or similar frameworks.
