About the role
The Vendor Business Manageris the commercial owner and champion of their portfolio, accountable for defining strategy, accelerating growth and maximising profitability.
Working closely with Sales, Strategy, and vendor partners, the Vendor Business Managerwill lead the development and execution of portfolio strategies that utilise vendor partnerships, ensure Jigsaw24's solutions are effectively positioned to meet customer needs and ultimately maximise revenue and profit growth.
Key duties and responsibilities are
- Portfolio Strategy
- Develop and execute a portfolio strategy aligned to Jigsaw24's commercial objectives, growth ambitions, market opportunities, and customer demand.
- Own and optimise the end-to-end portfolio lifecycle, defining pricing guardrails, ensuring products and solutions remain competitive, differentiated, and aligned to business priorities.
- Utilise market intelligence, competitor insight, emerging technologies, and performance data to identify opportunities, mitigate threats, and inform portfolio direction and investment decisions.
- Strategic Vendor Management
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors and partners to create commercial advantage and competitive differentiation.
- Secure competitive pricing, incentives, rebates, and growthprogrammesthatmaximiseprofitability and support portfolio objectives.
- Act as the commercial lead for strategic vendor partnerships, aligning partner investment and engagement to business growth priorities.
- Sales Enablement & Solution Adoption
- Equip sales teams with the knowledge, tools, messaging, and commercial guidance required to drive solution-led selling approaches that establish services-wrapped hardware as the standard customer proposition
- Monitor sales pipeline, support sales with internal or vendor support, identify opportunities for growth within your portfolio and deliver that into sales.
- Commercial Performance
- Drive revenue growth and gross profit performance across assigned hardware and software portfolios.
- Develop and implement pricing, profitability, and commercial strategies that maximise financial performance and support business objectives.
- Deliver incremental high-margin attach opportunities through effective solution positioning, commercial planning, and data-driven decision making.
- Lead the portfolio go-to-market strategy, aligning Sales, Marketing, Commercial, and vendor stakeholders behind shared growth objectives whilst communicating portfolio performance, opportunities, and risks across the business.

- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to drive revenue growth and profitability.

- Solid understanding of vendor ecosystems, rebate structures, MDF allocation, and channel commercial dynamics.
