About the role

To support the effective operation of the warehouse by accurately receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods while consistently meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards. We have two exciting opportunities available, both requiring weekend availability: Role 1 - Wednesday to Sunday inclusive, Role 2 - Thursday to Monday inclusive.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and within agreed service levels.
  • Receive, book in, and correctly locate inbound stock using warehouse systems.
  • Maintain stock accuracy through correct handling, labelling, and storage practices.
  • Work safely at all times in line with company health, safety, and security procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying issues affecting safety, quality, or efficiency.
  • Complete mandatory training including First Aid and Fire Warden online courses.
  • Undertake reasonable additional duties as required by the management team.

Performance expectations

  • Accuracy: Maintain picking, packing, and stock accuracy levels in line with agreed warehouse targets, with errors promptly reported and corrected.
  • Productivity: Consistently meet output and service-level expectations for order processing, receiving, and replenishment activities.
  • Attendance and Reliability: Maintain high levels of attendance and punctuality in accordance with contracted hours and shift requirements.
  • Compliance: Adhere 100% to health, safety, security, and quality procedures, including mandatory training and use of equipment.
  • Behaviour and Teamwork: Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude and work collaboratively to support team and operational objectives.

Education, Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Basic IT skills with the ability to learn warehouse and stock management systems.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure, independently, and as part of a team.
  • Physically capable of undertaking manual handling tasks safely.
  • Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
