The Art Director leads Jigsaw’s visual expression across all channels, ensuring the brand is elevated, consistent, and commercially effective. This role owns the creative vision, oversees the studio, and delivers high quality content that reflects Jigsaw’s design‑led, contemporary aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities- Define and evolve the brand’s creative direction across campaigns, lookbooks, product imagery, retail, packaging, digital, and social.
- Lead concept development for seasonal campaigns and ensure ideas translate across all brand touchpoints.
- Oversee the creative studio’s workflow and output, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to standard.
- Manage and mentor the Studio Manager, Stylist, and Graphic Designers, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance environment.
- Art direct all photography and video shoots, working closely with the stylist, external photographers, and production partners.
- Maintain Jigsaw’s visual identity guidelines and ensure consistency across all communications.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Ecommerce, and Marketing to ensure creative supports commercial objectives and product storytelling.
- Source and manage external creative partners when needed (photographers, retouchers, agencies, freelancers).
- Ensure all creative assets meet brand, quality, and technical standards for print and digital.
- Monitor creative trends in fashion, retail, and culture, integrating relevant insights into the brand’s expression.
- Proven experience as an Art Director within fashion or premium retail.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional art direction across campaign, digital, and editorial content.
- Confident leading shoots from concept through delivery, with a strong eye for styling, casting, and composition.
- Experienced managing a multidisciplinary creative team and studio environment.
- Highly organised, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Strong design sensibility with deep understanding of typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
