About us
At Jigsaw, we’re on a mission to transform the way professional services and financial institutions work. We do this by helping our clients organise, visualise and use their data (think Figma or Canva but for the ‘City’). Our clients include the world’s biggest consultancies, leading financial institutions and top law firms. Jigsaw was founded by two seasoned entrepreneurs, Stephen and Travis. This is their second venture together; their first was acquired by a US private equity firm and went on to become a billion-dollar company and a household name in professional service firms across the world. Jigsaw is now on a growth trajectory few Series A companies achieve - putting us in the top quartile SaaS companies globally. Today we proudly serve thousands of users from nearly two hundred businesses worldwide, who love our products and use them every day. But we’re only getting started! We have ambitious goals and we’re looking for talented people to help us achieve them.
The role
Jigsaw is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in shaping the user interface and user experience of our design tool, ensuring that legal, accounting and other professionals can efficiently visualise complex legal structures, processes, and relationships.
You’ll get to…
- Design interfaces that help users explore complex, interconnected data (entity hierarchies, ownership chains, multi-level relationships, etc.) where users need both the detail and the big picture at the same time.
- Build high-density views (tables, trees, relationship charts, timelines) that are scannable, structured, and not overwhelming.
- Engage with how data actually works (how records relate to each other, what happens when data is missing or contradictory) so designs hold up against real-world complexity.
- Run discovery with users - lawyers, accountants, compliance professionals - to understand where the current product loses them and what they actually need from a visualisation tool.
- Work closely with product and engineering to make design decisions that hold up technically, not just in Figma.
- Contribute to and evolve Jigsaw's design system, so the patterns you create become reusable building blocks.
You’ll thrive in this role if…
- You have 5+ years of product design experience in SaaS, and a portfolio that shows your process, not just your output.
- You can make dense information feel manageable - knowing when to show, when to hide, and how to guide someone's eye.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts through design.
- You are proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- You have a good understanding of accessibility and UX best practices.
- You know the legal industry or you have experience designing for a specialised domain (this would be a plus; not required).
