Some leadership roles are about stepping back. This one is about stepping in. Not to micromanage. But to be the person clients actually rely on. You’d be joining a £3m agency (team of 6) where events, incentives and venue finding all sit under one roof. The delivery is solid. What they need now is someone to sit between the client and the agency and make sure everything just… works. You’re the link. The translator. The person who sees it from the client’s side before it becomes a problem.
This is a genuine number two role to the MD. Strategy, sounding board, taking a good 30% off their plate that gives you freedom to do things your way. You’ll lead client services, mentor the team and raise standards without turning it into process for the sake of process. You’ll be pitching, presenting and fronting key relationships. The person clients call when it matters, not just when it’s going well.
What’s in it for you? Real autonomy. Real influence. And nowhere to hide… in a great way. You’ll have the space to shape how things are done, build the function your way and actually see the impact of your decisions. No layers. No endless signoffs. Just a business that wants to grow and needs someone to help steer it.
You’ll need to know your stuff. Venue finding, logistics, delegate management and how it all fits together, plus you’ll need to enjoy travel, because this isn’t a “watch it from afar” role. If you like being trusted, listened to, and given the reins without someone grabbing them back every five minutes, this is that role. If you’ve been doing the job and want more say, more impact and a proper seat at the table, click apply and let’s have a confidential chat. Who knows where it will take you.
Don’t worry if your CV isn’t up to date, we can deal with that later.
Oh, I also run a £1k recommend a friend scheme, so please feel free to share with your connections.
