We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to support our clients Operational Procurement function, ensuring the compliant, cost-effective and timely acquisition of critical materials and services. Reporting to the Head of Purchasing, you will manage a small team of Buyers and oversee procurement across components, standard parts, consumables, raw materials and indirect items. You will build strong supplier relationships, ensure regulatory and trade compliance, and support continuous improvement across procurement processes.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
- Experience sourcing raw materials and managing operational procurement
- Understanding of regulated environments and trade compliance
- Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Degree and/or MCIPS desirable
- Candidates must be eligible for SC-level security clearance.
