We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our dynamic Bournemouth based client. Reporting to the Director of Bid Management & Support, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, compelling proposals that help secure and retain work across a diverse client base. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading complex bids from qualification through to contract award.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end bid process in line with our clients Business Win procedures and best practices.
- Develop bid strategies, manage resources, and oversee proposal preparation to deliver compliant, high-quality submissions on time.
- Assemble and lead multi-disciplinary bid teams, working closely with sales, delivery, finance, legal, and external partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, reviews, and approvals.
- Drive continuous improvement of bid governance, processes, and best practice across the business.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in bid and proposal management.
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing complex bids.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for producing persuasive proposals.
- Advanced MS Office capability and exceptional organisational skills.
