Job Description We are currently working with a leading manufacturing group who are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Engineer to join their busy in-house IT team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting users across multiple sites and international locations, offering exposure to a wide range of technologies and IT functions. You will provide 1st and 2nd line support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of IT services within a fast-paced production environment. Acting as a key point of contact for all levels of staff, you will manage IT requests, monitor systems, and support both physical and virtual infrastructure. Deliver 1st/2nd line hardware and application support (on-site and remote) Install and support software applications Administer user accounts and deliver new starter inductions Monitor servers, networks, backups and system health Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Outlook, Teams, Office) Manage IT asset procurement, setup, and lifecycle (including disposal) Minimum 3 years’ experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role Strong knowledge of Windows domain environments and Office 365 Proven troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and networking Full UK driving licence (travel between sites required) Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00 (primarily on-site) Broad exposure to IT systems and projects across the group If you’re a motivated IT professional looking for a varied and rewarding role, we’d like to hear from you.
