We are looking for a reliable and practical Cleaner / Handyperson to join an established engineering team within a busy aviation hangar. This isn’t a standard cleaning role – you’ll work alongside engineers, helping to keep the hangar safe, clean and operational while providing general hands-on support.

Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–4:00pm and Friday, 8:00am–3:30pm

Pay: £14.00–£14.50 per hour

Duration: Initially 4–6 weeks

Start: ASAP

Duties will include:

  • General hangar cleaning and waste disposal
  • Supporting the engineering maintenance team
  • Rinsing aircraft
  • Replenishing equipment and trolleys
  • Minor maintenance of ground support equipment
  • Occasional local driving/collection duties

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable, safety-conscious and happy working as part of a team. Some basic mechanical knowledge would be useful, along with the ability to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained.
