We are currently recruiting for an organised and detail-focused Finance Administrator to join our client's team based in Christchurch (hybrid) on a long-term temporary basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous finance administration experience who enjoys working in a busy environment and is confident managing both purchase and sales ledger duties.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase Ledger
- Checking and processing supplier invoices onto SAP.
- Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring invoices are accurately recorded.
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
- Processing and posting supplier payments.
Sales Ledger
- Processing daily sales invoices and issuing them to customers.
- Posting customer receipts and allocating payments against remittances.
- Supporting credit control activities and maintaining accurate financial records.
About You
- Previous experience in a finance administration or accounts role.
- Experience using SAP would be highly beneficial.
- Good understanding of purchase and sales ledger processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident working independently and using your own initiative.
