As a Neighbourhood Safety Officer you will provide a service to our customers by working in partnership to help reduce anti-social behaviour within our communities, including taking legal action when necessary. You will be customer focused with excellent communication skills. You will need an investigative and enquiring mind with the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload. Ideally, you will be from a housing management background where you have developed skills in dealing with anti-social behaviour issues in a calm and constructive way.
You will have experience of information and evidence gathering, analytical and interviewing skills, alongside an understanding of how people respond in stressful situations. You will be responsible for managing caseloads, to make sure we can find effective resolutions in line with our processes, standards, timescales and targets.

About the Department: Our Neighbourhood Safety Team has a passion for positive relationships, protecting our customers and plays a key part in helping us to transform lives and revitalise neighbourhoods. Split across three geographical areas, the team has bases in Ashton-under-Lyne, Miles Platting in Manchester and Chorley in Lancashire. With around 30 dedicated colleagues, we work hard to help reduce anti-social behaviour and are part of a Neighbourhood team that provides housing management services from letting and managing homes to employment and wellbeing support. We take pride in our neighbourhoods and are committed to improving communities and targeting work where it is most needed.
Benefits & Working Conditions: Jigsaw Homes Group offers employees a very competitive 24 days holiday per annum, plus 3 days for Christmas closure (5 day working week) plus bank holidays, plus additional days after 2 years continuous service (to a maximum of 5 days). We offer our employees the option to buy/sell up to 5 days extra leave per year and we offer compressed hours of work with the option to work a 4 day working week in a number of our roles, with 50% of your time working from home upon completion of a satisfactory probation period.
