We are seeking a passionate Group Fire Safety Manager to help us take a proactive approach to managing fire safety across our portfolio of buildings. You will ensure that the contract in place for our fire risk assessments (FRAs) works well and each relevant building has an in-date FRA. In addition, you will ensure we are compliant with relevant legislation such as the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order and the Fire Safety England Regs and ensure relevant inspections are undertaken. This includes fire door inspections. You will be responsible for ensuring our policies and written procedures are regularly reviewed and updated.
You will be proactive, people-focussed, have excellent communication skills, and will work closely with the wider asset management team, repairs teams, and other colleagues across the business to deliver positive outcomes for our customers. You will need to provide advice, information and training to colleagues across the business. You will be a team player but able to work well as an individual on your own projects. The successful candidate will be part of a small team of building and fire safety professionals, and you will be supported by the Head of Building Safety.
