Commercial Mortgage Broker

Jigsaw Finance are recruiting for a self motivated Mortgage Broker to join our clients growing Commercial Property ream… This fantastic opportunity is working with a well established and recognised Finance name based in Stevenage.

*** Business Banking or other commercial lending/broking and/or regulated mortgage experience preferred however full training provided for the right candidate ***

Role Duties:

• Handling commercial, business and bridging loan finance enquiries received by the company via telephone, our website or other sources
• Following up initial enquiries and written terms issued, in order to either take the enquiry through to completion or obtain feedback as to why it did not proceed
• To undertake collection of information as necessary to progress enquiries with the appropriate lender, including application forms, income verification and any other supporting documentation required
• To liaise with lenders, valuers, solicitors etc as necessary to ensure transactions complete as smoothly and quickly as possible
• Such other activities as are necessary to carry out the duties of a commercial finance and secured loans broker
• Such other duties as may be reasonably requested by the company directors

Skills and Experience Required:

• Understanding general principles of lending
• Basic mathematical skills for financial calculations
• Analysis and interpretation of financial accounts
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivation
• Practical working knowledge of internet and email use, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent and positive telephone manner
• Ability to work to timescales
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Business Banking or other commercial lending/broking and/or regulated mortgage experience preferred however full training provided for the right candidate
