The Analog Design Engineer is responsible for the design and evaluation of analog integrated circuits, and related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support analog block specification, design, verification, and technical documentation
- Contribute to architectural design, abstract modelling, and system-level simulation
- Review and provide technical input on block layout activities
- Support laboratory evaluation of circuits, including development of test hardware and software
- Contribute to qualification, failure analysis, and production test design activities
- Work in line with established design processes, documentation standards, and toolsets
Experience & Skills
- Degree-qualified in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of analog electronics with awareness of digital IC design and processes
- Proven experience across the full analog IC block design and evaluation lifecycle
- Comfortable managing multiple technical tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, planning, and time-management skills
- Proficient in scripting (e.g. Python, MATLAB)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers
