We are a well-established, independent local garage looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our friendly team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in their work and is looking to join a supportive, professional environment.
The Role:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models
- Completing routine repairs including brakes, suspension, exhausts, tyres, clutches, and timing belts
- Performing diagnostics and electrical fault finding
- Identifying and resolving engine and transmission issues
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and customers when required
About You:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience working in a professional workshop environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable (but not essential):
- MOT Class 4 Licence (training can be provided)
