Our client is a highly respected and growing automotive group that continues to expand while maintaining a strong focus on employee wellbeing, training, and career development. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their successful workshop team in Bath.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards while ensuring the highest levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Completing repairs efficiently and accurately
  • Conducting vehicle health checks and reporting findings
  • Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and safety standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Working collaboratively with the workshop team to achieve targets

About You

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within a busy workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • A professional, motivated, and reliable attitude
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
