We are currently recruiting experienced Structural Steel Welders / Platers to join a busy engineering operation in Harworth. The role involves working on heavy structural steel, including the fabrication and welding of large steel beams and structural components.
Shift Patterns
- Days: 6:00am - 2:00pm — £17.50 per hour
- Nights: 2:00pm - 10:00pm — £23.27 per hour
- Overtime: Regular overtime opportunities available, paid at time and a half
The Role
- Fabricating and welding heavy structural steel
- Working with large steel beams and components
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Carrying out welding, fitting and preparation work
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Working safely within a busy engineering environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in structural steel fabrication
- Strong welding and plating/fitting skills
- Experience working with heavy steel and large beams
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
