Hydraulic Engineer / Mobile Hydraulic Crane Technician / Engineer �� Birmingham �� Up to £50,000 per year + Overtime �� Full-Time | Permanent �� Company Van Provided An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hydraulic Engineer / Mobile Crane Technician to join a growing engineering team covering Birmingham and the surrounding Midlands area.

This is a mobile field-service role involving the testing, servicing, maintenance and repair of hydraulic lorry loader cranes and associated equipment.

The successful candidate will be provided with a fully stocked company vehicle, ongoing training and the opportunity to significantly increase earnings through overtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing, maintenance and repair of hydraulic loader cranes
  • Fault finding on hydraulic and electrical systems
  • LOLER testing and certification
  • Hydraulic hose manufacture and replacement
  • Breakdown and roadside assistance
  • Working both on customer sites and company premises
  • Completing reports and maintaining high service standards
  • Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working on hydraulic equipment, cranes, plant or heavy vehicles
  • Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
  • ALLMI or Thorough Examiner certification beneficial but not essential
