We are currently working with an award-winning dealership group with multiple sites and service centres across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and successful workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the motor trade who is keen to develop their skills within a modern, well-equipped environment. The successful candidate will benefit from manufacturer and in-house training, along with clear progression opportunities supported by state-of-the-art training facilities.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will carry out a wide range of servicing, maintenance, and diagnostic work, ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Produce accurate vehicle health reports using electronic systems in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Communicate technical findings clearly to customers using video and face-to-face methods
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive or Engineering
- Previous experience within a vehicle workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach
- An MOT licence would be advantageous but is not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.
