We are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional service team in Chandlers Ford.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technician to work with a prestigious premium vehicle brand , using the latest vehicle technology while benefiting from excellent training, career development and a strong package.
The Role As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to the highest possible standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on premium vehicles.
- Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out electrical and electronic diagnostic work.
- Complete repairs efficiently and accurately within manufacturer times.
- Test and diagnose vehicle faults.
- Identify additional servicing and repair requirements.
- Advise on preventative maintenance and future repair requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and right first time.
- Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and customer service.
- Work effectively as part of a busy and professional team.
- Keep up to date with the latest vehicle technology and manufacturer procedures.
About You The successful candidate will ideally have
Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- ATA Technician accreditation would be advantageous.
- Minimum
2 years' experience in a similar Vehicle Technician role.
- Strong diagnostic, electrical and mechanical skills.
- Experience working with modern vehicle technology.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A full UK driving licence.
Premium or main dealer experience would be advantageous, along with a genuine passion for working on high-quality vehicles.
