Vehicle Technician - Light Commercial Vehicles
Location: West Meon, Hampshire
Salary: £37,500 - £41,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Light Commercial Vehicle Technician to join an established workshop team in the West Meon area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, multi-skilled LCV Technician or Mechanic who is confident working across a range of commercial vehicle makes and models.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on light commercial vehicles.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
- Working on a variety of makes and models.
- Preparing vehicles to a high standard for customer handover.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Supporting the wider workshop team with vehicle preparation.
- Maintaining a clean and professional working environment.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
- Strong experience working on light commercial vehicles.
- Experience working across multiple makes and models.
- Good mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- A Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification is preferred but not essential.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
NO SATURDAYS.
Overtime is available and payable but not compulsory.
Salary & Benefits
- £37,500 - £41,000 per annum, depending on experience.
