An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Parts Advisor to join the busy Parts Department at a successful Škoda and Toyota dealership in Trowbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer‑focused individual with automotive parts experience to join a friendly and supportive team within a well‑established dealer group.
The Role
As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring customers and technicians receive the correct parts efficiently while maintaining excellent levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and inventory records
- Assisting retail and trade customers with parts enquiries
- Identifying and supplying the correct parts for customer requirements
- Processing parts orders, deliveries, returns, and warranty claims
- Supporting workshop technicians with parts requirements
- Providing outstanding customer service both face‑to‑face and over the phone
- Ensuring the parts department remains clean, organised, and efficient
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve departmental targets
About You
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or within an automotive parts department
- Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- A positive attitude and strong team‑working ethic
