About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a specialist residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex support needs. This is an exciting opportunity to take a key leadership role in the mobilisation, opening and ongoing development of a high-quality service. You will be responsible for CQC compliance, service quality, staff leadership and ensuring outstanding person-centered support for the people who live in the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the CQC Registered Manager and maintain full regulatory compliance.
- Lead the opening, development and day-to-day operation of the service.
- Recruit, lead and develop a skilled, motivated and values-driven staff team.
- Ensure high standards of person-centered care, safeguarding and positive outcomes.
- Oversee referrals, assessments, admissions and transitions.
- Promote positive behaviour support, trauma-informed and autism-informed practice.
- Manage quality assurance systems, audits and continuous improvement plans.
- Maintain effective relationships with families, commissioners, healthcare professionals and partner agencies.
- Oversee medication management, health and safety, risk management and clinical governance.
- Manage budgets, staffing levels and operational performance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within residential care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and health and social care legislation.
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop and retain teams.
- Experience managing quality, compliance and service improvement.
- Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered support.
