We are currently recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy and professional workshop in Eastleigh. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified MOT Tester looking to join an established business, with a competitive basic salary, £1 paid for every MOT completed, and additional overtime available.
The Role
- Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
- Identifying and accurately reporting vehicle defects
- Completing MOT documentation and associated paperwork
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Advising on any repairs or remedial work required
- Working closely with the wider workshop team
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
Requirements
- Current MOT Tester qualification
- Previous experience within a busy workshop environment
- Strong knowledge of MOT standards and DVSA regulations
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- High attention to detail
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Premium or main dealer experience would be advantageous
- A genuine passion for working on high-quality vehicles
