We are looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join a professional, supportive, and family-oriented dealership environment. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs across a range of vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and general mechanical components.
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards and workshop procedures.
- Conduct vehicle road tests and customer demonstrations where required.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional maintenance requirements.
- Communicate directly with customers when required, explaining faults, repairs, and recommended work in a professional manner.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Candidate Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- Minimum 2 years’ practical workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician.
- Previous experience within a Main Dealer environment preferred.
- EV / Hybrid training desirable, although training and development can be provided.
- MOT Tester qualification advantageous but not essential.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Honest, reliable, and motivated to develop within a growing business.
