An excellent opportunity for an experienced Hydraulic Engineer / Mobile Crane Technician to join a growing engineering team covering Birmingham and the surrounding Midlands area. This mobile field-service role involves testing, servicing, maintenance and repair of hydraulic lorry loader cranes and associated equipment. The successful candidate receives a fully stocked company vehicle, ongoing training and opportunity to increase earnings through overtime.
Key Responsibilities- Servicing, maintenance and repair of hydraulic loader cranes
- Fault finding on hydraulic and electrical systems
- LOLER testing and certification
- Hydraulic hose manufacture and replacement
- Breakdown and roadside assistance
- Working both on customer sites and company premises
- Completing reports and maintaining high service standards
- Previous experience working on hydraulic equipment, cranes, plant or heavy vehicles
- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence required
- ALLMI or Thorough Examiner certification beneficial but not essential
