About the Opportunity
We are supporting applications for the National Talent Program, a flagship initiative designed to attract world-class scientists and technology leaders to collaborate with top universities, national laboratories, and leading high-tech enterprises. This opportunity is flexible, international-friendly, and open to remote or hybrid participation at the early stage.
Target Candidates
- PhD-level researchers with strong international backgrounds in STEM fields, including but not limited to:
- Chemistry & Materials
- Physics & Semiconductor Devices
- AI, IT, Advanced Manufacturing
- Overseas Associate Professor / Senior Researcher / Principal Scientist
- Senior technical leaders in industry
- Researchers with strong publications, patents, or project experience
- Candidates currently based outside China (or returned after Jan 1, 2025)
Work Model
- Flexible engagement: full-time, part-time, or project-based
- Remote participation supported during the initial period
- On-site presence can be arranged flexibly based on project needs
- No requirement to relocate immediately
- Annual salary: ~USD 200,000 (varies by host institution and role)
- One-time govt grant upon selection: up to USD 300,000
- Additional research funding may be available for strong candidates
- Visa support (long-term talent visa), healthcare, housing, and family support
