Due to continued growth and a secured pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Lead Site Manager to take responsibility for a key project in Plymouth.

The Project

You will lead the delivery of a £5m design & build scheme, involving the replacement of roof and cladding systems on an existing building. This is a technically focused project requiring strong coordination, programme management, and attention to detail to ensure minimal disruption and high-quality execution.

The Role

As Lead Site Manager, you will take full site responsibility, reporting to the Project Manager and overseeing all site operations from start to completion.

  • Managing day-to-day site activities and subcontractors
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
  • Coordinating trades and managing site logistics on a live environment
  • Driving quality standards and ensuring compliance with design requirements
  • Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management
  • Maintaining strong client relationships on site
  • Ensuring all H&S procedures and company policies are adhered to

About You

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager / Lead Site Manager with a main contractor
  • Experience delivering roofing and cladding packages
  • Strong knowledge of design & build projects
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualified
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams and drive programme on site
