A well-established and highly respected law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its Private Wealth & Succession team. This opportunity is available in either the firm's Leeds City Centre or Bradford City Centre office, depending on the successful candidate's preference. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly and supportive team that advises a broad range of clients, including families, trustees, business owners, landowners, executors and beneficiaries. The department handles a varied caseload covering wills, trusts, estate administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and private wealth planning matters.
The Role
- Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a busy team of lawyers, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, amending and managing legal documents and correspondence
- Supporting monthly billing processes
- Assisting with credit control and financial administration
- Producing financial information and reports when required
- Maintaining accurate records through the firm's case management system
- Delivering professional and efficient support to both lawyers and clients
- Managing diaries, appointments and general administrative duties
About You
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a law firm
- Strong document production and administration skills
- Experience using case management systems
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload effectively
- Strong communication and client care skills
- A professional and empathetic approach when dealing with sensitive matters
Experience within Private Client, Wills & Probate or Private Wealth would be highly desirable. Candidates from similar practice areas, such as Family Law, will also be considered.
