Regional Main Contractor
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a permanent, office-based role.
Quantity Surveyor Role:
- Office-based role covering projects across North and Mid Devon
- Running 1-3 projects at any one time, depending on value and complexity
- Project values up to 5m across new build housing, heritage, commercial, and public sector work
- Estimating projects before running them commercially through to completion
- Full commercial management from pre-construction to final account
- Preparing and agreeing interim valuations and payment applications
- Procuring and managing subcontract packages, including tendering and valuing works
- Cost reporting, forecasting, and monitoring project profitability
- Managing variations, change control, and contract compliance
- Negotiating and agreeing final accounts
