JHR Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established national construction and property services contractor to recruit an experienced Estimator for their South West team. Our client delivers a diverse range of projects across the public and private sectors, including refurbishment, building fabric, maintenance and new build works within education, healthcare, defence, commercial and critical infrastructure environments.

The Role
As Estimator, you will take ownership of multiple tenders simultaneously, managing the process from initial enquiry through to submission and handover to the operational team. Projects will predominantly involve refurbishment, building fabric and construction works across a range of occupied and live environments.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing tender documentation and assessing project scope
- Carrying out detailed take-offs and measurements
- Producing Bills of Quantities (BoQs)
- Attending site visits and pre-tender meetings
- Obtaining and evaluating supplier quotations
