Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time (45 hours per week) We are looking for an experienced and reliable Plant & Equipment Maintenance Engineer / Fitter to join our growing plant and haulage business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of our fleet of plant, machinery, vehicles and associated equipment. We are looking for someone who is practical, mechanically minded and capable of working independently. The role will suit someone with strong experience working on construction plant, agricultural machinery, HGVs or similar heavy equipment. The successful candidate will play an important role in keeping our machinery safe, reliable and available for work, minimising downtime and identifying potential problems before they become major failures. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on plant and machinery. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults.
