JHE are working with a highly respected and established business in Skipton, who are looking for an accounts assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a cash-rich and growing company where the chosen candidate will play a key role in the finance team. Reporting into the finance manager and working in a finance team of 7, this is a busy role overseeing the transactional finance duties of the team; however, this role can be tailored depending on experience.
Duties include:
- End-to-end purchase ledger
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Cash and bank reconciliations
- Weekly and monthly payment runs
- Overseeing company bank transactions on the system
- Reconciling the sales ledger
- Petty cash and stock analysis
- Query handling
- Processing expenses
- Posting journal entries
- Processing of payroll (if have experience)
- Excel work - spreadsheet and Lookups
