JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with a well established, stable business in Huddersfield as they look to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant. Initially on a temporary basis, this could potentially be a permanent opportunity for the right person. Offering flexibility with hours, ranging from 24 hours per week to full time depending on the candidates requirements, this is a great chance to join a friendly, caring business.
The role is varied and key duties will include:
- Processing purchase invoices and matching with PO numbers/delivery notes
- Handling supplier queries
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Preparing payment schedules
- Sales ledger responsibilities
- Monitoring aged debt
- Processing sales orders and other general administration
- Other duties as required in a busy finance office
Currently operating a Sage system, they are looking to bring in a new finance system within 6 months. Applicants must have some recent finance administration experience, have a friendly "can-do" attitude and a desire to work as part of a small, hard working team.
