JHE & Partners are excited to be working exclusively with a fantastic business based near Harrogate as they look to recruit an Interim Management Accountant. This is a brilliant opportunity to work with a truly unique business who have developed an incredible culture at an exciting time in their journey. The role will be offered on a fixed term contract basis for a period of between 6-12 months. Supporting the FC, the successful candidate will play a key role in the organisation, responsible for bringing together the monthly management accounts, whilst maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This is a company with real energy, purpose and enthusiasm, so it is essential we find someone who will thrive in this environment.
Key duties will include:
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly cashflow forecasting
- Production of a variety of reports each month relating to operations
- VAT Returns
- Sales reports
- Assisting with annual audit and the preparation of statutory accounts
- Supporting the senior leadership as required
Experience and skill set required:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Proven track record in similar positions
- Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with business partnering experience
- Strong organisational, problem solving and analytical skills
- A genuine enthusiasm and positivity for work, process improvement and working as part of a successful team
