JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with a very successful manufacturing business in Halifax as they look to recruit an experienced Company Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Managing Director, this is an ambitious business that has an enviable reputation in their specialist industry. This is a hands-on, varied role that requires a real "all-rounder". This role could develop into a Finance Director position as the company continues its exciting journey, giving the successful candidate room to develop a successful career within this award-winning business.
Key duties will involve:
- Production of monthly management accounts pack and reporting to senior leadership team
- Submissions to HMRC, PAYE, VAT returns and corporation tax
- Provision of reporting and analysis to aid commercial decision making and inform strategic direction of the business
- Management of purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
- Processing small monthly Payroll (using Sage Payroll system)
- Other ad hoc duties as required of an all-encompassing company accountant role
