JHE & Partners are delighted to once again be working with a brilliant employer in the Bradford area (near Cleckheaton) as they look to recruit an experienced Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This role would suit a qualified accountant, looking to build on their existing experience and work closely with a supportive, motivated FD and senior leadership team. The business has grown significantly over recent years and continues to go from strength to strength. As a result, this is a new opportunity within the finance team and a chance to have a real impact.
With three direct reports, the main duties will include:
- Preparation of statutory year-end accounts and liaising with external accountants
- Production of monthly management accounts pack and board reports for FD review
- Work closely with the FD on a variety of things including budgeting and forecasting
- Providing KPIs and Management Information to support strategic decision making at board level, with a focus on improving efficiencies within the business
- Continuous development of finance systems and process
- Management of a small finance team, supporting and mentoring with studies for AAT and beyond
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Applicants will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with colleagues across the business at all levels and in all departments. People management experience is desirable along with advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables etc.
