JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with a great Bradford manufacturer, steeped in history, who are looking for an accounts assistant on a temporary basis of around 4 months. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounts professional that thrives in a busy and fast-paced department overseeing a multitude of tasks. Reporting into the finance director, the chosen candidate will work as part of a small team and form an integral force overseeing the accounts for one of the subsidiary companies. This role is fully office-based.
Duties include:
- Full end-to-end purchase ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Assist with cash-flow forecasting
- Assist with month-end including prepayments and accruals
- Bank and petty cash reconciliations
- Statement reconciliations
- Credit control (occasional)
- Assist with calculating journals
- Assist with annual audits
- Preparing wage reports
- Generating sales and stock reports
Ideally, you'll be immediately available or on reduced notice to start. The client is looking for local candidates, who are happy to temp for the next 4-5 months. To be considered for this role you must have a good understanding / experience of Excel. Any candidates with multi-currency experience are encouraged to apply.
